This episode of “Made it Monday” is something I’ve been planning for quite a while. I’ve really been enjoying yoga. However, when it comes to going on the road, I had no real good way of transporting my yoga mat. At one point, I bought strips of velcro to wrap around it, but it still wasn’t easy to carry. That’s when I decided to crochet a yoga mat bag and come up with my own pattern. Today, I want to share that pattern with you. I’m incredibly proud of it and look forward to traveling with easy now that I have the proper bag.
Once again I used Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn in white and grey. You could really use any color combination that suits your own style. I personally used these colors because I thought they would best match the color of my mat. This pattern is made mostly in v-stitch (which seems to be my favorite right now). There’s some single and double crochet sprinkled in there as well.
