Happy “What I Did Wednesday“! I’m not sure if you noticed I was away from the blog yesterday. Today I wanted to take a moment and fill you in on some things that have been happening. With all the activity in my life, it’s time for a new blog format and a vegetable garden update!
Last week, I let you know about my millionth attempt to start a vegetable garden. I used seeds I got out of the produce we’d eaten at home and haphazardly planted it. Well, I’m pleased to announce that both the tomatoes and green onions have sprouted! We’ll have to see if they will continue to do well, though. It’s all still up in the air, but the sprouts have me feeling a bit more confident. The jalapeno and bell peppers haven’t shown themselves yet, so I’m hoping they will soon. The downside is, I’ll be out-of-town and away from them all for a few days, so hopefully, they’ll do well unattended! Anyone else starting a vegetable garden this year?
Now, on to the new blog format! For the last several weeks, I’ve been blogging every day Monday through Friday. It’s quite a bit of work to come up with new, quality content every day. I’m also aspiring more and more to write more ebooks as well as tackle my own novel. However, if I’m focusing on blog content every day, that leaves very little time to do those other things. So, I’m going to be focusing on “Made it Monday“, “What I Did Wednesday” and “Foodie Friday” posts for now. I’ll still use these days to share some of the same tips I focus on in my “Tips Tuesday” posts and thought-provoking things I post in my “Think About it Thursday” posts. Hopefully, you will not lack anything in this new format and will be pleased with the better content because of my ability to focus on fewer posts every week.
So what do you think? Do you feel like you’ll be missing out on your favorite content? Are you looking forward to seeing better content with the new format? Ever spread yourself too thin and have to back away from a few things to focus better on other things?
Hopefully, you all are finding Spring where you are! As for us here in the midwest, it has yet to be determined if we’ll ever see Spring!
